Lovely arrival, beautiful braai area. No washing up facilities in kitchen (only outside), toilets that don't want to flush and poor water pressure, also forgot to provide towels.
Great, awesome, baie lekker.
We were received so kindly and really enjoyed meeting all the farm animals! The outdoor braai is very cozy and the rooms well equipped with a lot of attention to detail. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

We stopped over on our way to the West Coast. We were able to rest well and continue the long road.
My stay on Nietgedacht was out of the books. The surroundings are beautiful and the accommodation exceeds expectations. Wonderfully quiet and with a typical farm atmosphere.
We immediately felt at home. The silence was an absolute bonus. Lovely hot showers and soft beds ensured that we were rested and ready for the next day's long journey.
If you like silence and farm life charms you, this is an ideal destination. It was damn hot, but the air conditioning was a great asset.

A very welcome and hospitable stopover for the long journey between the West Coast and Gauteng. The facilities are clean, tidy and all basic needs are met. The silence and the darkness of the night make it an experience for the city jays who are used to light and noise. Thank you very much for a nice visit.

Very neat, we really enjoyed being able to unpack there after a long drive. Experienced it very peacefully and calmly. Nice away from busy roads and noise.

We had a nice stay. However, my children were disappointed that the pool was not ready and we had to swim in the farm pond. It was fun too.
Our hostess was very nice and helpful. Although tired, it was great to sit outside and watch the stars. The animals made me miss my own fur babies back at home! The house is very comfortable and neat, and we would love to stay here again. It is definitely worth the 5 km drive down the dirt road!
We only spent one night at Nietgedacht and when leaving we thought it should have been another one or may be two. It is a sheep farm in the middle of the Karoo and a fine place to completely unwind. If stargazing is your thing the farm is a must.
The people here are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very neat and well-equipped for the winter.
